I'm Late, I'm Late

Ok, by passing Menu Monday and moving on to

I'm here to sing the praises of the drying rack.

It's easy to dry your clothes on the line in nice weather, but what about in the winter? The drying rack is my answer. It takes awhile but they do dry and I'm probably humidifying the air too. Jeans and towels get hung over night and finished lightly in the dryer ( 10min maybe). Dh's dress shirts get hung to dry on hangers. It works for us, uses less electricity, saves wear and tear on the dryer and will hopefully make my rather elderly dryer last longer too.

I need one of these ! We are looking into the different options of ways to air dry. I am waiting for hubby and BIL to put up my clothes line too.

Thanks for sharing !

That's funny, I love drying clothes outside in the summer, but winter, grr...I have a hard time with it.

My son, who is currently living in S. Korea only has a drying rack and not a dryer. I'll have to ask him how that is working out.

Saves wear and tear on the clothes too! We use a drying rack; we also dry things on the radiators and in the airing cupboard (where the boiler aka hot water heater is).

Oh, I'll sing the praises of the drying rack right along side of you!! My mom used one, and I've used one since day one of my marriage. We dry the clothes for about 10 minutes and then hang them up. Here in AZ they're dry in a matter of hours. Aren't they wonderful??

Have a lovely week!
